Perlisten R4i LCRS
- The S4i utilizing the same great technology of the S4b enabling a DPC array and timbre matching not only in the raw materials but in the critical frequency response, power response, phase, and in addition THX Dominus surround certified. Able to blend seamlessly into any home theater as a stereo pair with a subwoofer, center, or surrounds to the be the most useful model in the lineup for small, medium, or large home theaters.
- Based on the S4s and S4b speakers. the S4i has been designed to work as LCR or Surround. With the design for inwall applications. Shallow 4” mounting depth and integral aluminum extrusion rear enclosure insure consistent performance and minimal sound propagation to adjacent rooms. Featuring our proprietary DPC-Array controlling Mid/High frequencies, centered by our finest 28mm Beryllium dome and dual 28mm TPCD ultra-lightweight domes. All transducers are developed ground up by our engineers – bringing decades of research, culminating in this world class design. We teamed up with companies in the USA and Sweden to bring modern material science to hi-fi. Utilizing advanced Comsol acoustic modeling, our DPC-array is the result of 18 months of painstaking simulations and prototyping. The result is one of the most technologically advanced loudspeakers available. This new tweeter/waveguide DPC-Array delivers amazing accuracy, smoothness, and directivity control to handle the critical vocal range and delicate treble. Where sound quality and Transients free of overhang are paramount. Simply no better expression of bass performance then our push-pull subs. Ground up drivers developed by our team of engineers. Glass fiber composite diaphragms, multiple aluminum shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire are the key ingredients – Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques allow us to simulate all these components and then optimize for real world driver performance – free air and in box. Further refinement is done with the aid of Klippel laser measurements to dial things in. To take performance to another level, the push-pull drivers reduce even order harmonics distortion by an additional 10-12dB. Powered by our 1.3kW amplifier, all functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data bath DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, able to react in microseconds, powerful enough to slam. All R-Series subs share our 2.4” LCD touchscreen display and ability to control advance settings using our App. Certified THX Dominus when 4 R210s subs are used a testament to the level of design and performance achieved.
