Perlisten R5i-LR

The next level in-wall with Directivity control to even lower frequencies while enabling a DPC array and timbre matching not only in the raw materials but in the critical frequency response, power response, phase. Based on the R5t tower, the R5i-LR is THX Dominus surround and Ultra LCR certified. A true value in the medium size home theater in-wall compared to almost any in-wall on the market and can be utilized as an LCR with an acoustically transparent screen or as an LR in the Media room.
Based largely on the R5m. Adapted for inwall applications. Shallow 4” mounting depth and integral aluminum extrusion rear enclosure insure consistent performance and minimal sound propagation to adjacent rooms. Sharing “trickle-down” technology from our flagship S-Series, the DPC-Array here based on three 26mm domes, guarantees excellent directivity control and timbre matching with all R-Series speakers. The Silk diaphragms developed ground up, chosen specifically their smooth, effortless representation of midrange and treble. The 165mm woofers are made from our proprietary HPF pulp, two years in development, bringing new technology to one of the oldest materials used in loudspeaker design. All R-Series speakers share the same DPC-Array and benefit from our unique timbre matching technique across the entire series. Another PERLISTEN inwall loudspeaker to be certified for THX Dominus – their highest rating.

Natural, True vocals are never easy while maintaining super low distortion and extreme dynamics that movies demand is what sets the R-series apart. The same DPC control with clarity that make you forget you have speakers in your room at all and just enjoy yourself.

Massive bass, minute distortion levels, just as we intended.
MODEL D12s Subwoofer: Small footprint, big sound. Benefiting from many of the technologies of our flagship subs, these sealed subs generate amazing performance in the smallest footprint. Low Q, shallow rolloff response geared for sound quality and smoothly integrating into the listening room. Also, a great choice for using multiple subs to optimize in room response and smooth out seat-to-seat variation. The smallest subwoofer in the series, yet packs enough punch to be certified THX Dominus using a pair of D12s subs. Powered by our 1.5kW amplifier, all functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data bath DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, able to react in microseconds, powerful enough to slam. Ground up drivers developed by our team of engineers. Carbon fiber composite diaphragms, multiple aluminum shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire are the key ingredients – Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques allow us to simulate all these components and then optimize for real world driver performance – free air and in box. Further refinement is done with the aid of Klippel laser measurements to dial things in. All D-Series subs share our 2.4” LCD touchscreen display and ability to control advance settings using our App.
